Your typical work includes the following:
- Answering a multi-line phone and providing helpful, accurate responses to inquiries by patients and doctors.
- Optimize and oversee full cycle from new patient inquiries to securing booked appointments and charge capture.
- Managing calendars for multiple doctors- ensuring that patients’ appointments, cancellations, rescheduling, last-minute adjustments, requests, and other issues are handled appropriately to ensure a) patient satisfaction b) meet dentistry goals c) help meet goals of the practice.
- Insurance verification, manage proper filing of insurance and act as liaison between patient and insurance companies including: assisting patients with insurance processing, calculating insurance/patient portion, working with patients with affordable payment plan options, insurance claim submissions.
- Understanding the business and facilitating the attainment of its ongoing goals and growth.
- The prompt, gracious greeting, and registration of arriving patients
- Build and develop ongoing relationship with new and existing patients to grow reputation and generate revenue
- Ensure file organization based on office protocol
Qualifications
- At least 5-10 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Receptionist/Office Manager
- A four-year college degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent phone skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Candidate should be an independent thinker, organized, self-motivated, adaptable, able to take the initiative, with a positive attitude
- Experience with Dental software
- Experience with Microsoft Office

Compensation package: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
