Full Job Description
The Liquidity and Funding Management group within Treasury handles liquidity and funding planning across the corporation and its subsidiaries, including our bank and broker-dealers. We monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory ratios including the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and associated public disclosures, Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), FR 2052a Liquidity Monitoring Report. We also develop tools to assist our business partners in analyzing the liquidity impacts of business decisions. We work with our second line partners to assist in the development of robust contingency liquidity analyses and plans to help identify emerging risks. This group is responsible for the design of company liquidity management policies, ensuring compliance at all times, and advancing issues to senior management as needed. We work with internal and external partners on multiple ongoing examinations and audits of liquidity practices. With this role we are incorporating a collateral management subject matter authority into our Liquidity and Funding Management group.
What you are good at
Building a centralized collateral management framework across all legal entities
OCC & NSCC clearing house subject matter authority: including collateral and cash requirement methodologies, research, forecasting and modeling
Understanding of broker dealer segregation routines
Optimize collateral selections for liquidity and pledging purposes while collaborating with the securities lending groups
Build robust analytics to support collateral pledging activities
Broker dealer subject matter authority for items impacting liquidity, 15c3-3, and 15c3-1
Provide modeling support for upcoming broker dealer integration
Monitor assets pledged to our counterparties across all legal entities
Work with cross functional teams to identify ways to reduce collateral requirements
Identify and monitor assets that are unencumbered and available to be pledged
Establish collateral management controls and procedures
Monitor and ensure collateral availability to support secured funding activities
What you have
Experience with data analysis including experience with very large data sets;
Advanced SQL skill to extract information from various applications and systems
Excellent analytical, strategic planning, sophisticated problem resolution and leadership skills;
Knowledge of Python or other program language is a plus;
Strong interpersonal and management skills with the demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships and to interact effectively with senior management;
Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple, changing priorities;
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
CFA, CPA or FRM professional designation preferred
10+ years of related work experience
Deep knowledge of broker / dealer liquidity and collateral requirements
Extensive experience and knowledge required in broker/dealer operations
Ability to translate sophisticated business problems into discrete quantifiable components
Excellent oral and written communication skills
