Role Overview:
Join our team as a Medicare Sales Representative and play a vital role in expanding our reach and impact in the Medicare insurance market. As a representative of Texas Medicare Solutions, you will engage with Medicare-eligible individuals, educate them about our insurance products, and help them make informed decisions to meet their healthcare needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct formal sales presentations to individuals and consumer groups, showcasing our Medicare insurance plans.
- Arrange private appointments with potential clients in their homes to discuss their Medicare options.
- Make outbound phone calls to prospects and follow up on new sales leads and referrals.
- Qualify and educate prospective members on product offerings, pricing, and services, guiding them through the enrollment process.
- Identify opportunities to educate the community about our Medicare products by building relationships with medical providers, senior organizations, and other community leaders.
- Cross-sell value-added products such as dental and vision insurance to existing and prospective clients.
- Provide assistance to existing members with service issues and inquiries as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Medicare sales or related field.
- Active Health License and CMS Required Certification.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with bilingual (Spanish) proficiency preferred.
- Associates' degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 2 years relevant experience).
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while managing multiple projects.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to analyze problems to create solutions.
- Comfortable receiving constructive criticism and adjusting sales strategies as needed.
