Accountemps presently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. The Accounting Clerk role offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part International Construction Company. Based out of the Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short term temporary-to-fulltime opening. In this dynamic department, there is an opportunity for career growth and quick advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk will match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

Major responsibilities

  • Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
  • Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
  • Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
  • Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
  • Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
  • Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
  • Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
  • Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
  • Conduct full-cycle A/P

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
  • Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
  • Data entry experience required
  • Accounts payable experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
