BRAZING UTILITY OPERATOR- 3rd Shift

$15.00/HR [10% Differential]

Position overview:
Sets up and operates casting, extrusion, drawing, shear cutting, draw cutting, spooling, high silver coiling, repack and flux equipment.

Follows company policies and standard operating procedures.

Troubleshoots common electrical/mechanical malfunctions.

Based on extensive knowledge of all brazing operations, fills in where customer demand most dictates.

Effectively trains new operators and ensures transference of knowledge.

Demonstrates safety in all aspects of job.

Fills out daily production reports detailing work activity as well as any other paperwork required per procedures.

Qualified candidates should demonstrate an exemplary work ethic and possess:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physically capable to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Reliable transportation and strong attendance record with flexibility to work overtime if needed.

Ability to pass background check, drug screen and physical.

Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Work demands occasional strenuous effort. For example, handling of moderately heavy boxes, tools, equipment or materials; walking/climbing or sitting/standing in a fixed position for extended periods of time; working around moving parts/machines; working with irritant chemicals, etc. Employee is required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, coats, boots, gloves, or shields; may require working in adverse weather conditions.
