Wells Fargo Equipment Finance (WFEF) is a leading equipment finance provider in the U.S. and Canada. with a portfolio exceeding $45 billion, more than 300,000 active customers and 2,500+ team members . WFEF provides a full spectrum of financing and lease options for customers’ equipment and capital expenditure requirements through Wells Fargo business, commercial and corporate banking channels, relationships with equipment manufacturers, dealers, distributors and direct to market. WFEF has industry financing specialists dedicated to Healthcare, Construction, Energy, Commercial and Specialty Vehicles, Marine, Rail, Aircraft, and Vendor Financing Programs.

The National Sales Manager will be an active participant on the WFEF management team to set strategy, policy and procedures to help become a dominant equipment finance provider in the Vendor Finance Industry. Strategic sales planning includes but is not limited to strategies to grow existing accounts, develop new customers, measure sales effectiveness and increase economic profit. Responsible for preparing and managing a business origination budget with a focus on volume, spread, syndication fees and residual gains. Assist sales people to develop a strategy to originate new business in their respective marketplaces.
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
3+ years of equipment finance experience
5+ years of sales management experience, business unit management experience, or a combination of both
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership/sales management skills in vendor equipment finance programs
Proven success in managing a sales force that has consistently met or exceeded quota
Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of deal processes including finance, credit, risk, legal and portfolio
Proven business presentation skills
10+ years of commercial leasing sales experience
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting
