As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for project coordination for a multitude of program and communications initiatives that support the launch of new products, as well as support for the field selling process. This role will work closely with both the marketing and sales teams, as well as outside support vendors. Furthermore, the incumbent will exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significant importance to the organization, including managing a large annual budget. Approximately 10% travel is required, including occasional international trips. This is an entry-level position reporting directly to the Marketing Communications Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement marketing programs, ensuring proper execution, as well as providing input and ideas to improve on or develop new programs
  • Provide support for new product development launches
  • Assist with managing annual marketing budget, including tracking and filing vendor invoices
  • Assist with the development and function of our web-based communication platforms
  • Support marketing and sales with customers' product and promotional needs
  • Provide support for copywriting, proofreading and design editing for printed collateral, advertisements, direct mail, e-newsletters and public relations projects
  • Coordinate public relations activities, such as facilitating product requests or information for TV shoots, graphics for customer events and tradeshow support
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing related discipline required
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience required
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail with strong proofreading skills
  • Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic and creative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, particularly Excel
  • Graphic design knowledge with a basic understanding of how to effectively use related software
  • Professional business demeanor
