FURNITURE SHOWROOM SALES CONSULTANT: PART-TIME
Our Showroom Sales Consultants will assist our customers in the selection of new furniture by determining color, style, finish, and fabric preferences as well as explaining the features and benefits of our products and services. Sales Consultants will also transact sales for new and used furniture and housewares from the IFR Clearance Center. They will be responsible for the sales process from greeting the customer to completing the sales order, scheduling the delivery and installation, and placing follow-up calls to determine current and future customer needs. Essential duties will include maintaining a clean and orderly showroom, working with fabrics and product catalogs, and always displaying professional conduct and appearance.
The ideal candidate will need the following skills and qualifications:
· Use Retail Software for quotes and point-of-sale invoicing
· Receive payments from customers for sales orders
· Schedule delivery times
· Exceptional customer service and communication skills
· Pays attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task
· Works well both independently and as part of a team
· Microsoft Office and Excel product knowledge
· Minimum 1 year furniture sales experience
· Interior design skills a plus
Work days are Thursday & Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm, Saturday 10:00am - 5:00pm.
