The Commercial Sales Executive conducts a wide variety of sales activities, specializing in contracts with commercial and industrial clients. The Commercial Sales Executive has primary responsibility to research and obtain contracts relating to HVAC, Plumbing, Building Automation, and other MSD products. The Commercial Sales Executive provides superlative service and value to the agencies represented by the GSA. The Commercial Sales Executive supports the total quality effort by identifying and responding to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the time.
Key accountabilities in order of priority and ideal time allocations are:
Communicating with key personnel in assigned markets to facilitate sales opportunities (55%)
Generating proposals in accordance organizational policies and procedures (25%)
Maintain CRM (10%)
(Ten percent of time is reserved for ancillary responsibilities, interruptions and unplanned activities.)

Generate new business opportunities by prospecting for new clients

Will operate computer and other office productivity machinery on a consistent basis; remain stationary for extended periods; traverse the office environment to deliver information, reports, etc.; communicate via telephone or other electronic means; may occasionally move items weighing up to 35lbs; perform other essential tasks as required.

Qualifications and General Requirements:
Operational understanding of HVAC components and systems (Required)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to consistently operate computer equipment
Ability to obtain Secret, or higher, security clearance
Unencumbered US Driver’s license
Education and Experience:
2+ years’ experience in commercial HVAC sales (highly preferred)
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
7+ years’ experience in a high volume/dollar commercial sales environment may be substituted for degree requirements
