The Behavioral Health Access Coordinator conducts and coordinates the evaluation, assessment, referral and disposition of all persons presenting for behavioral health assessment. This position coordinates admission and referral processes.
Education: Master's degree required. Master's degree in social work preferred.
Experience: One year of behavioral health experience required.
Licensure/certification/registration: Appropriate state social work or counseling license required. LPC or LCSW required. BLS and NVCI - 90 days to obtain from date of hire preferred.
Additional skills required: Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient’s age. Has ability to interpret information and identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
