Field Service X-ray Technician
Precision X-Ray is seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team for field support.
This position reports to the Service Manager. This position is a travel position. Reporting to the main office in CT.
Responsibilities
On-site Service, including but not limited to system installations, preventative maintenance, evaluations and repair, relocations, upgrades, and user training.
Works closely with our Service Coordinator on scheduling and communications with customers.
Create and maintain detailed and accurate service records in CRM, including service reports, equipment manuals, and customer communication logs.
Travel up to 5 days a week along with occasional weekends.
*Domestic and International Travel.
Maintain Field Service Kit provided by the Company.
Provide written work instructions when required.
Assist in-house service with customer support and factory repairs when required.
Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to provide feedback on product performance, potential improvements, and common issues encountered in the field.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, product advancements, and technical developments to enhance personal and team knowledge.
Performs all other duties as required to meet the company’s goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing and maintaining X-ray devices or similar equipment.
Experience working with and repairing low-voltage electronics. (Minimum 2 years experience)
Knowledge of mechanical assemblies with the ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and mechanical components.
Strong understanding of X-ray technology and associated systems.
Familiarity with software diagnostics and system integration.
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, especially in conflict resolution situations.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Focused on providing quality customer service while keeping the company’s goals and focus in mind.
Work closely with customers both nationally and internationally from a variety of different industries
Ensure that team priorities and goals are met and or exceeded.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive working environment.
Must effectively use a variety of computer software to maintain client relationships, including CRM, ERP, and Office applications.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or x-ray imaging is preferred.
Education and Training Requirements:
