Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile and collaborative. You will oversee all aspects of the Google Cloud sales process, improving it with your insightful data analysis, troubleshooting, and seamless cross-functional teamwork. Your strategies ensure that companies new to Google products get the highest quality customer support and that the Google Cloud program overall is kept on the cutting edge.
Firebase is Google's mobile and web app development platform that helps developers build, monitor, and grow their apps. As a Business Development Manager, you will own the mission-critical efforts to identify and execute product partnership opportunities, and drive customer adoption of Firebase tools and services.
There are three parts to this role - strategy, operations, and relationship management. You will help shape our top customer Go-To-Market strategy, design and manage programs, enhancing our product feedback loop and managing our most important customer relationships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Developer Relations, Marketing, Legal, and Product. You will also partner with other Sales and Business Development teams across broader Google to achieve joint objectives.
You will speak to engineering leaders internally and externally and influence business decision-makers of all levels. You will be a thought leader and partner to help Firebase customers understand new industry trends and the value of future Firebase products. You will report to the Head of Firebase Business Development.

Drive the development of Firebase enterprise go-to-market strategy.
Design and manage structured roadmap feedback process from customers to Product and Engineering teams.
Serve as the Firebase expert in strategic customer sales conversations.
Manage relationship with Firebase’s top customers.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in technology go-to-market, strategic, management consulting, investment banking, or strategic customer/partner relationship management.
3 years of experience working in strategic business development, product management, partnership development or similar role.
MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Experience working on a cloud-based developer product.
Experience with Firebase’s first-party partner product areas (i.e., Google Cloud Platform, Google AdMob, Google Ads, and Google Analytics).
