We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our award-winning team in Montville, New Jersey.

This position is responsible for:

  • All tasks relative to the scheduling of raw materials within the machine shop and services that are required to support production and develop work orders. These activities include, but are not limited to, managing work orders to support MRP and non MRP requirements, product development, follow through on all non-conforming material matters and the timely and accurate processing, follow up, and rescheduling of all work orders and system maintenance.
  • You will plan and schedule work orders, release requisitions to purchasing on a timely basis, manage work order material flow from inception through completion along with managing component shortages to resolution. In addition, you will perform planning and production tasks, anticipate program needs, and expedite material and tool requirements for production, manufacturing and assembly operations, and be responsible for developing, coordinating and communicating the daily production schedule including the creation and release of work orders.

Qualified candidate will have a minimum of a: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years’ experience supporting production cells and Kanban replenishment.

**Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing is a must, along with a working knowledge of MRP systems, planning and scheduling. Must be computer literate, with excellent oral and written communication skills. This position requires a detail oriented individual who must be able to work in a fast-paced environment**
