Essential Job Functions:
Support new product design and development
Develop/modify the robot design with good understanding of electro-mechanical systems
Trouble shoot the issues with the existing robots resolving control logic issues or mechanical issues
Communicate with various suppliers/ vendors for procurement of sensors, actuators, mechanical systems etc.
Provide demo of Robots to the GE customers to facilitate their outages.
Document best practices and design procedures

BS/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical and Mechatronics engineering with minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
3-5 years’ experience with PLC process control
Able to develop PLC programming for the electrical systems in the robots
Experience with C/C++, Python or MATLAB
Knowledge of controls networks IP, Modbus and SCADA systems
P&ID, control narrative interpretation a plus
Experience in working with robots is desired
Attention to detail; Good work ethic
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under time constraints, maintain composure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to interact with employees/managers at all levels with strong oral and written communication skills

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly Office Environments. Occasional Shop Floor involvement
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
