Entry Level Leasing Data Analyst – Federal Client
SUMMARY:
The Concourse Group is looking for a skilled data analytics and visualization specialist with the ability to work in a small team environment to solve problems for multiple programs within our EPA service sector. This position is hybrid, and candidates must live locally as it may require infrequent visits to the Concourse office and client locations throughout the National Capital Region. Candidates living outside of the National Capital Region WILL NOT be considered.
Our Leasing Data Analyst will have strong analytic and organizational skills—such as data processing, database management, data visualization, and preferably some exposure to web development. Successful candidates will have exposure to data science and analysis, strong attention to detail, and be comfortable in fast-paced environments. This position will be part of a team so the ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working independently on individual tasks while collaborating to bring together a bigger picture project.
This position is entry level, so experience and exposure developed in an educational or internship setting is applicable. Some training will be provided but please read the required education and experience prior to applying.
SUMMARY OF POTENTIAL TASKS:
- Manage projects, monitor progress against milestones and budgets, coordinate client requests and expectations, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Complete short- and long-term projects related to data analysis
- Develop ideas for process improvement with automations in the Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Gmail)
- Summarize and review leases based on environmental standards
- Maintain and troubleshoot current processes in previously built automations
- Develop data visualizations to clearly and concisely summarize datasets for clients
- Develop automated workflows connecting databases to spreadsheets
- Utilize queries to extract and analyze large data sets
REQUIRED PERSONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent interpersonal skills – this is a position that interacts with clients.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently on tasks that are part of a bigger project involving multiple team members.
- Ability to multi-task and track actions in an organized and reportable manner.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer programming, data analytics, data science. (Other majors are acceptable with relevant experience).
- Experience with data analysis in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
- Advanced understanding of spreadsheet formulas and techniques to clean and organize data (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, filters, queries, array formulas, etc.).
- Background or experience with one of the following programming languages: R, Python, SQL, JavaScript, or VBA.
- Experience creating visualizations with large datasets using Excel, Google Sheets or advanced visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with large datasets related to real estate or leasing.
- Experience with emergency management or preparedness.
- Experience with environmental protection or sustainability.
- Understanding of Google Scripting (JavaScript) and the interactivity of Google workspace programs.
- Experience creating automated workflows from databases.
- Understanding of database structures.
- Preference is given to those with direct federal experience (including internships).

- Must hold a U.S. Citizenship
- Must be able to earn a favorable Public Trust clearance
- Must live local to the National Capital Region
