Web Industries is seeking an experienced production control professional to provide skill and leadership in the analysis, planning, execution and continuous improvement of production activities. These include optimization and coordination of material flows, assisting with capacity and equipment planning, and driving of overall continuous improvement efforts for the production area. This position will evaluate and prioritize potential solutions and will partner directly with production supervision and training to ensure the successful implementation of actions that improve operation efficiency.
This position will manage execution and implementation of information systems at the Suwanee location by:
Analyzing, planning, and managing production control and continuous improvement activities to improve runtime.
Reviewing production plan to identify risks and communicate the same to Operations Manager.
Conduct production capacity analysis and daily/weekly/ monthly production scheduling.
Monitoring inventory levels and plans to ensure there are no shortages or excesses.
Planning and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations.
Developing process improvements for inventory, manufacturing and production control systems to meet business objectives.
Analyzing customer orders and establish production schedules for timely delivery.
Investigating production control problems, analyzing root causes, and deriving solutions.
Applying LEAN principles that identify areas for improvement, reducing waste and optimizing production processes.
Developing and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI’s) for the manufacturing operation.
Ensuring that staff follow company policies and safety procedures.
Determining equipment and material requirements for each production work order.
Monitoring the execution of job orders and adjust production schedule for timely delivery.
Make ERP corrections daily as needed to maintain accuracy in the life cycle of the product.
Developing positive relationships with staffs and customer to meet productivity goals.
Working with operations and supply chain departments in identifying and resolving production planning problems.

The successful candidate will have Associates’ Degree in related discipline and 5-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing operations environment or an equivalent combination, preferably within the aerospace, or other highly regulated, industry Resume should reflect experience with capacity planning and ERP corrections. In addition, qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills; a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and lead teams without a direct reporting relationship; demonstrated experience in leading and managing change; experience in a non-discreet part manufacturing, or converting operation; demonstrated skill in lean manufacturing processes and techniques. The right candidate will possess good project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, stay organized, and drive projects to completion.
