Job Purpose:
The Clinical Software Specialist is responsible for participating in technical and clinical functions relating to the development and continuing innovation of MHA’s Clinical Therapy Management (CTM) Software. With an emphasis on specialty therapeutic categories, this individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining clinical therapy modules for our specialty pharmacy solutions platform and supporting all aspects of this platform, including pharmacy training and support. This position will provide professional services and solutions to our customers; assist project teams with technical, clinical and operational tasks in conjunction with the initiation and planning phases of new version deployments. In addition to the emphasis on clinical aspects of the role, this person will also be responsible for defining requirements, research and development, technical clinical analysis, as well as testing and rolling-out new versions of CTM. This individual will also be expected to contribute monthly written communication pieces to pharmacy members regarding FDA label changes, product reviews, and disease state education as time allows.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Create and maintain clinical therapy modules for selected disease states
Provide clinical support for pharmacies who are using the CTM software and provide webinar based demonstrations for prospective users
Perform pharmacy webinar training sessions related to system orientation and utilization. Help research and troubleshoot clinical and operational issues and act as a liaison with the developers
Creation of MHA clinical communications for members that are distributed on a monthly/quarterly basis and provide back -up support to the clinical team

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:
Minimum of 3 years SP pharmacy years of experience as a clinical pharmacist in Specialty Pharmacy, managed care, or clinical software setting
Clinical expertise in the areas of MS, Inflammatory Conditions, Hep C, Hemophilia and/or Immunoglobulin therapy a plus
Strong emphasis on customer service skills and ability to provide a high level of follow up to retain confidence and respect; customer focused active listener who consistently delivers on commitments within deadlines.
Clear communications skills with attention to detail, both written and oral; as well as strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Proficient in writing clinical product overviews and in conducting drug literature evaluations
Demonstrated ability to independently manage assigned clinical projects and function effectively in a fast paced and changing environment with multiple priorities and objectives
Ability to work as part of a larger team to achieve business and clinical goals
Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent time management skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (power point, word, and excel)
Ability to travel 10-20%
