Description of Duties:

CENTRA’s Homeland Security and Risk Analysis Division (HSRAD) is seeking an Industrial Security Support Analyst with knowledge of the DoD Intelligence Community and national level industrial security policies and procedures.

Position Description:
This position is part of a multidisciplinary team advising the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSD/I), on current and future DoD and interagency counterintelligence (CI), law enforcement (LE), security policies and programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Supporting the reviewing, analysis, and development of the OUSD/I recommendations related to the Department of Defense (DoD) decisions on the national security implications of proposed transactions submitted to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS)
Participating in the development, review, and coordination of all policy issuances for industrial security in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and review pertinent policy documents from other DoD components for industrial security equities
Contributing to the review of industrial security letters about national level industrial security related issues affecting DoD, non-DoD, and the defense industrial base
Collaborating with working groups in the defense industrial arena such as the National Industrial Security Program Policy Advisory Committee (NISPPAC), a body of government and industry representatives responsible for recommending changes to industrial security policy

Prerequisites:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated knowledge of DoD Intelligence Community, and national level industrial security policies and procedures
Knowledge of national level industrial security related issues affecting DoD, non-DoD, and the defense industrial base and demonstrated experience in providing recommendations to resolve the issues based on policy

Expertise in policy development, i.e.:
Drafting, formatting, tracking, staffing, reviewing and reconciling inputs to DoD Directive(s), Instruction(s), Manual(s) and other publications
Reviewing other policy documents for industrial security equities
Capable of providing support for key working groups such as the National Industrial Security Policy Program Advisory Committee and Defense Industrial Base Cyber Security Program
Capable of developing, updating, and coordinating policy and developing action memos, congressional responses, briefings, background research, oversight visits, and participate in inter and intra agency meetings
3 years of policy or operational experience and experience as a staff action officer within the DoD IC, OSD, and/or a Military Component.
