As a Wholesale Credit Team Lead for Chase Merchant Services, you will lead underwriting and portfolio management functions associated with our strategic client base.
Overall focus includes assisting in managing a team of Associate and VP level Credit Analysts by:
Delegating tasks to assure that all underwrites are completed as assigned, as well as additional tasks that may be assigned to the team;
Training to ensure the team has the skills, tools, and dedication to operational excellence;
Monitor performance of team members and provide coaching and mentoring to further develop skills;
Core competencies include:
Operational focus with a strong eye for detail to maintain that all work in the team is done according to policy and procedures and maintain and strong controls environment;
Problem solving skills to identify areas to improve controls, work efficiency, and team building.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience managing a team within credit, risk management, or operations environment.
Advanced level analytical and business writing ability, and experience with creating and delivering presentations to peers and senior management.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
