The Supply Chain Specialist will coordinate and expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies through both the external suppliers and internal customers.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assists with inventory problem resolution, overseeing the integrity of inventory and resolving discrepancies.
Investigate variances in inventory as well as processes and determine causes and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Follows up with purchasing and receiving to clear shortages; monitors the movement of materials from one department to another.
Responsible for given work line/program, analyzes work-to-start for work order requirements, and determines lot size including new job start-up.
Reviews material requirements and works with buyers to review supplier inter-pack standards.
Develop plan for every part for raw components as well as finished good storage.
Partner Evaluate storage needs and provide recommendation to Inventory Manager.
Support cycle count program through investigation and training of logistics staff.
Meets established standards for productivity and quality; partners with Management when problems arise, which impact expected level of performance.
Responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance to ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field) or equivalent experience
Experience working with ERP and Microsoft systems
Proficient in Excel and accurate in keying/data entry
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a process driven environment
Minimum 3 years of experience working in warehouse/manufacturing environment
Demonstrated history of success performing within a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details
Experience working with Materials Requirement Planning
Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Clean Room Operations and Project Management
Up to 10%
