Job Summary:
This Operations Specialist position within Data Assurance Department (DAD) under Operations Division is support the Static and Reference Data unit who is responsible for onboarding clients to various trading and booking systems, including customer web portal.
Maintaining CDL Reference tables and process various reconciliations.
Support remediation efforts, including finding and escalating data anomalies.
Support and suggest opportunity by streamlining and creating automated reporting using the bank’s data repository.
Develop subject matter expertise of customer products and services, including compliance and surveillance initiatives related to Dodd-Frank Act (DFA), specific to Title VII.
Support the development and validation of quality assurance, plans, test strategies and other project deliverables.
Support Customer Statements Unit during peak periods.
Support Departmental project initiatives.
Assists in the overall testing of bank developed or vendor supplied packages.

Major Responsibilities:
Maker or checker of client onboarding into source systems, including static and common data.
Perform maintenance of all responsible data elements.
Support new processes.
Understanding all facets of static data setups and maintenance
Process Table Maintenance Requests (TMR) – Client Data table maintenance within CDL
Identify data anomalies and assist in the remediation efforts of source systems where applicable
Assist in all Static Data projects.
At times, interact and collaborate Back and Front Offices, including ISA system, identifying risk in projects.
Support the development and validation of quality assurance, plans, test strategies and other regulating project deliverables
Support with procedure updates, develop new procedures for each new process, update existing
Identify risks related to current processes, identify opportunities for process improvement with static and reporting processes

Ability to initiate collaboration with various departments and manage multiple changing priorities and processes
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong time management, prioritization, work organization and multi-tasking skills
This position requires motivation and excellent verbal and written communication
Proficiency in MS Office – Excel (Access, PowerPoint, Word, Business Objects a plus)
Understanding of SQL and the ability to write queries for data analysis a plus
