As a Systems Design Engineer at Sentrillion, you will play a pivotal role in programming, commissioning, and conducting end-user training for cutting-edge access control and surveillance systems. Your responsibilities will span from conducting initial site surveys to ensure all customer concerns are addressed, to developing detailed proposal submittal packages with equipment specifications and site drawings. You will be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with local codes, life safety, and ADA standards while also contributing to cost estimating, bill of materials creation, and construction drawings. Your expertise in network IP systems will be instrumental in delivering top-notch solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
Successful candidates for the Systems Design Engineer position at Sentrillion should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, 6 years of experience in electronic and/or security system design can be substituted for the degree. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems, security solutions, fiber optics, and/or electrical technical fields, with at least 3 years focused on System Design, is essential.
Ideal candidates will hold certifications in Technology Systems/Components such as Network+, Security+, PSP, ITIL, and/or CISSP. Posess experience with IP cameras design and field installation. Proficiency in technical writing for Statement of Work (SOW), technical upgrades/recommendations, and bid and proposal purposes is crucial. Supervisory experience is required.
Additionally, the ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance is required.
