ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Director of Media and Communications, you will work within a corporate culture where Performance, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Celebration are the mantras of success. In this role, you will:
Supervise the Victra media team and work cross-functionally with Verizon indirect support teams
Oversee and facilitate all "live" and recorded media events
Enhance the company newsletter, "Victra Voice," and expand the #VNation brand.
Build and maintain the media team to promote Victra's core values and mission through leading by example
Collaborate with all Victra business units to ensure consistent messaging and deliver world-class internal communications
Coordinate, organize and implement communication strategy and project flow
Other duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

You should have at least 5 years of experience within internal communications roles. Accordingly, we are looking for you to bring the following:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field preferred
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Demonstrated ability to be a clear thinker with strong decision-making skills
Excellent skills in project management, organizational, and time management
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced office environment
Demonstrated experience in a company's internal and external brand development and messaging
