JOB SUMMARY:
Conduct general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic equipment, mainly in automation equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Perform preventive, predictive maintenance and total productive maintenance in accordance with standardized procedures.
- Be able to interact with operators, supervisors, co-workers in a team-oriented fashion towards a common goal.
- Ability to adjust to changing needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment, read schematics, and understand technical books.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to research on the Internet for manuals and instructions from components manufacturers.
- Extensive working knowledge of PLC s, AC and DC drives, Human Machine Interfaces, etc.
- Troubleshoot faults and breakdowns using instruments, blueprints, manuals, manufacturer specifications, machine diagnosis, control parameters, PLC ladder diagrams and experience.
- Experience working with machine voltages up to 480 volts.
- Electronics experience and capable of repairing boards to the component level.
- Keep records of faults and alarm by date, machine number in computer database.
- Be able to navigate in the machine system to check operating parameters, and general set up if needed.
- Programming ability for PLC’s and HMIs, and drives set
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Performing basic computer skills like data entry and documentation of work performed by written and electronic methods.
- Windows based computer skills.
- Knowledgeable of key types of machinery equipment & plant infrastructure systems (e.g. electrical infrastructure, air compressors, water chillers, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (Bilingual English-Spanish a plus), and effective use of all MS Office products.
- Three to five years of experience.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering or Associate Degree in Electronics Technologies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to perform all physical functions of working in a manufacturing environment such as, climbing, standing, bending, reaching and squatting.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Working with and near electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment. Working in and on machines in a non-air conditioned environment.
Rotating shift work and overtime required.
Weekend and holiday support required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
