This Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk is an hourly office & technical role supporting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Housekeeping Warehouse and Furniture departments. The selected individual will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and furniture, picking and filling orders from stock, coordinating furniture and artwork repair and refinishing, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock and furniture in the warehouse. This cast member will have additional responsibilities that include partnering with other line of businesses and providing direction to 2-3 warehouse cast members.

Responsibilities :Achieve business goals and objectives:
Be fiscally responsible with the ability to develop Financial reporting and maintain warehouse budgets
Coordinate and lead the efforts for furniture moves in and out of guest room, public space or storage areas.
Initiate furniture/fabric related purchases in SAP, coordinating Furniture Capital requests, coordinating efforts through third party vendors, receiving/warehousing, coordinating furniture inventory/repair, setting up/organizing furniture storage, and reviewing/prioritizing the condition of all furniture.

Highlight your Organization Skills:
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
Prepare parcels for mailing
Review HotSOS and Medallia reporting for item requests, service orders and Guest comments on item requests and furniture condition
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via HotSOS reporting or service orders. May also assist in counting of physical inventory

Understand the Physicality of the role:
Ability to be successful in a physically demanding role that may include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, sitting, reaching, pulling, talking with hands/gestures and balancing
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in stock and furniture
Ability to open bales, crates and other containers
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area

Basic Qualifications :
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of SAP and marketplace purchasing
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in HotSOS and Medallia
Good communication, detail-oriented and organized
Strong Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, mathematical and computer skills
Strong understanding and desire to uphold safety guidelines while utilizing proper safety equipment at all times
Serve as the liaison between both Disney and 3rd party vendors for furniture ordering, delivery and installation

Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years previous warehouse experience

High School Diploma

Preferred Education :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
