As the Supervisor of Shipping you will ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse with particular emphasis on managing warehouse associates and implementing warehouse action plans.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Maintain Shipping Department work schedules and assignments to ensure efficient operation
Direct and supervise all outbound orders to ensure they are correct and shipped on schedule
Ensure all records are maintained and reports are completed on time
Review operating goals and standards and monitor achievement
Review warehouse operations daily to ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed

What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5 years of experience in warehousing or 3rd party logistics
2 years of supervisory experience in a warehousing or distribution environment
Experience with computer systems, warehouse systems, and computerized scanning equipment

It’d be great if you also have:
Demonstrated skills in leadership, organization and communication
AS400 and/or SAP experience
