Job Summary
Th e Construction Finance Manager directly support s the Construction Team and generally support s the larger Development team by overseeing & reporting on capital spending related to new Shack openings. The Construction Finance Manager provides all budget accruals , construction capital actuals and forecasting , construction KPI reporting, general contractor qualifying and quality reporting, change management roll outs , construction cost analysis , efficiency and cost savings recommendations , and implementation strategies. The Construction Finance Manager collaborates closely with and supports the Director(s) of Construction , the Construction Project Managers , the Finance & Accounting Team and the overall Development Team . The Construction Finance Manager will play a key leadership role developing and communicating critical business data, information, analysis, recommendations, and strategies to various company stak e holders including the Executive Team and the Board of Directors.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
Develop KPI reporting analytics and provide on a regular cadence – W/P/M/Q/Y
Develop detailed construction cost forecasting tools referencing Budgets and Goals
Provide data in meaningful formats to be used for Construction Cost Estimating
Provide critical analysis and recommendations regarding performance versus Budget & Goals
Develop tools that identify the rate of construction project spend (typically by period)
Collaborate with Real Estate Team to reconcile and maintain accuracy of all CO Team NSO capital spend
Collaborate with accounting for construction accruals and forecasting related to NSO capital spending
Review and analyze construction change orders to identify themes in spending and recommend change
Collaborate with Accounting to create and implement a project Close Out process
Manage Tenant Improvement & Reimbursement funds and collection tracking status
Develop all communication tools and deliverables for Development Team, Executive Team and the BOD
Manage all construct ion team change initiatives, change roll outs and related support training
Establish vetting criteria and qualify all General Contractors maintaining a detailed database including subs
Establish Soft Bidding program and implement strategically to establish cost awareness and cost efficiencies
Establish industry data channels to increase opportunities with raw materials trends and industry benchmarking

Related Experience
Construction , Real Estate and/or Financial Management in a Retail, Hospitality or Restaurant Environment.

Pay Range - $78,265.00 - $126,060.00 *The salary paid to a successful applicant will depend on the applicant’s experience, qualifications, business needs and resources, and the candidate’s location.
