Summary
The Program Project Specialist works under the direction of the Community Clinical Programs Supervisor to provide management support in the development and implementation of the Dental Sealant Program, mobile dental and health clinics, school-based health clinics, school-based telemedicine, and related community health initiatives. Assists with development of databases, analysis of data, and preparation and presentation of reports. As needed, participates in community activities and meetings in the development and implementation of community health programs. Travel will include overnight stays and will account for at least 40 to 50 percent of his or her time.
Description
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coordinates dental sealant program

Works with school contacts to schedule dental sealant clinic visits
Works with community dentists to ensure local participation in the program statewide
Prepares information and other pertinent materials, including dental equipment, for school and other site visits
Helps with ordering supplies, doing inventory, and keeping up with the dental sealant storage facility and dental equipment.
Provides dental sealant clinic setup, operational supervision, and clinic shutdown activities
Reviews all school data and reports for accuracy as demonstrated by minimal errors in reports submitted.
In Compliance with ACH’s Fleet Management Policy, drives an ACH owned, leased, or personal vehicles frequently in the performance of essential job functions
2. Assists with management support in the development and implementation of Community Clinical Programs.

Participates as a team member in related community health activities and initiatives.
Compiles accurate information and data for report.
Prepares and distributes reports according to established deadlines.
Modifies and/or updates reporting systems on an as needed basis.
Provides data analysis as requested to support budget development and monitoring, productivity monitoring and special projects.
3. Assists with data management and special projects as assigned.

Provides data management and statistical support and assistance for special projects.
Works with existing and newly developed databases and other management support tools as requested.
Assumes responsibility for projects as delegated.
Prepares regular reporting on project assignments as directed.
Provides information for benchmarking reporting as requested.
Ensures accuracy of data and statistical analysis in reports.
4. Participates in community activities and meetings in the development and implementation of Community Clinical Programs.

Coordinates and schedules activities and meetings with community groups or organizations as assigned.
Participates in community programs as assigned.
Prepares reports and data for these activities.
Provides recommendations for improvement as is necessary.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Required - Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university - Field of Study: Business Administration, Management, Finance or related field , or Or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Required - 2 years total experience required, which includes 2 years of Business, finance or related field preferred. Working with local schools and community organizations especially experience, which includes 2 years of Accounting and databases experience experience
CERTIFICATION / LICENSE / REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS

Required - Driver's License (Class D) with good driving record in Arkansas (Candidate must possesss at time of hire)
SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Required - Demonstrated competency in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access and Power Point)
Required - Expertise in working with databases, data retrieval, display and analysis of data.
Required - Good communication skills.
Required - Focus on detail and accuracy.
