JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Compliance Vice President to support its Global Anti-Corruption Compliance team in the United States. The Global Anti-Corruption Compliance (GACC) team manages the firm’s global Anti-Corruption Program (the Program) which is designed to manage and mitigate corruption risk and to assist the firm and its employees in complying with anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws. GACC is part of the firm’s Global Employee Compliance organization which provides compliance coverage in relation to key employee-related regulatory and compliance risks such Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Code of Conduct, Licensing and Registrations, and Personal Account Dealing.
The Governance & Strategic Operations Compliance Vice President supports, amongst other things, the ongoing transformation / evolution of how Global Anti-Corruption Program analyzes and synthesizes information across all functions. While assisting the Governance & Strategic Operations Lead in providing leadership, governance and project support to both the GACC and Antitrust Compliance Programs, the Compliance Vice President will partner closely with senior management and subject matter experts across the GACC and Antitrust teams to ensure successful implementation of tactical and strategic change efforts.
Role and Responsibilities:
Co-Designing, implementing and partnering in executing a strategic expense monitoring program targeted at identifying corruption risk in expense activity at the firm, including by exploring and potentially co-leading the build out of advanced technology solutions (e.g., machine learning and artificial intelligence).
Support the development and enhancement of the GACC Analytics and Reporting undertaken by both programs, including by:
Developing and utilizing technical expertise in Excel and Tableau to obtain and analyze information more effectively and efficiently creating and optimizing reporting through the utilization of various data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau)
Leveraging a strong foundational knowledge of Analytics to build effective solutions that simplify, automate and add value
Leading user acceptance testing and validation of new reports
Apply thought leadership with analytics and data transformation for the GACC Program including aggregating, associating and visualization and/or acquisition of Program related data.
Assisting the Governance & Strategic Operations Lead with the development and execution of strategic end-to-end design enhancements of key operational processes, controls, technology and innovation across both Programs, including by:
Supporting the implementation of enhancements to the end-to-end operational processes and controls of both programs, including in the planning, design, testing and execution phases
Using creativity and ingenuity to transform how we see and understand data
Assisting with end to end change/initiative management, including prioritization and tracking of development and deployment timelines
Assisting program team members in identifying and resolving control issues
Aiding in initiatives to innovate existing processes and technology utilized by the programs
Support the overall program including backup support for other activities of the team including strategic initiatives.
Leading the Records Management Governance process bi-annually to ensure firm wide compliance across both the Global Anti-Corruption Compliance and Global Antitrust Compliance Programs
Assisting in collating and drafting materials for presentation to senior compliance management
Assist on other strategic initiatives and innovation initiatives across the Employee Compliance organization more broadly
Leading the management of the suite of SharePoint sites to ensure organization of records and the tracking of site content in accordance with the Firmwide requirements
Collating, drafting, and presenting materials to senior compliance management related to the Program more generally.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5 - 7 years of operations experience and 2+ years of experience in Analytics, controls, and/or compliance is preferred.
