This position is located at the DeKalb County Board of Health - T.O. Vinson Health Center.
Under limited supervision, provides leadership in identifying, developing, and implementing the best practices and program strategies to enhance the Adolescent Health & Youth Development Program (AHYD). Coordinates program activities including outreach, networking, and recruiting participants. Conducts program evaluations using appropriate assessment tools. Monitors program activities to ensure compliance of state and federal program guidelines. Develops and coordinates reporting, requirements and resources to maintain program. Assists in administering program grants, contracts, and budgets.
Master's degree in Public Health Education from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor's degree in Education, Social, Behavioral or Biological Sciences or a directly related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of experience in public health education.
In addition to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants with community engagement, outreach experience, and adolescent health and youth development skills.
