Overview:

The Customer and Market Research Analyst is passionate about our customers, research, and driving improvements to the customer experience. This role is highly visible and is the owner and primary evangelist for the Net Promoter Score (NPS) program company-wide.

You will:
  • Be the company-wide owner of the NPS program, including developing customer survey plans, executing those plans, performing analysis, and presenting and reporting on results and findings.
  • Collaborate with other organizations outside of Marketing as required to support customer research needs as well as identifying and capturing customer touch-points using the NPS methodology within our database
  • Grow the NPS database within the IDW by continuing to add additional customer touch points. Work with IT to ensure NPS database is updated timely and provides a basis for analysis and reporting.
  • Educate and evangelize NPS concepts and methodology to broaden understanding and awareness. Encourage appropriate use and interpretation of the data and findings.
  • Align with Customer Marketing and Intelligence team as needed
  • Develop marketplace understanding of comparative benchmarks for NPS, as well as monitoring new developments and strategies around NPS and customer research.
  • Proactively drive fact-based decision making based on deep insights built upon B2B customer research.
  • Draw upon multiple sources of both qualitative and quantitative information, synthesizing that information into actionable insights and recommendations to management, including senior executive management.
  • Creatively leverage internal data about our customer base, planning and conducting primary market research, and collaborating with others as needed
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in Primary Research, preferably in a Technology business, including presenting results to Senior executives
  • Strong Primary Research and Analytical Skills
  • Ability to deliver key actionable insights and recommendations
  • Should include at least 2-3 years of direct experience in working with Analysts, Primary and Secondary Research Providers/Services
  • Demonstrated track record of success in assimilating and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative research from various sources and delivering recommendations to management at all levels
  • Commitment to driving results
  • Experience with Maritz Survey tool a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus
