A growing small-medium size company is seeking a corporate controller. The successful individual will have 2-3 direct reports; ability to manage, lead, delivery results. Acquire solid understanding of financials, GL, AP and AR, Invoicing, PO, navigate through changes, ability to make recommendations, implement policy and procedures.

Essential Functions: Include but are not limited to-
Lead in the overall operations of the accounting department
Coordinate and prepare financial statements, footnotes, tables and other schedules, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance
Overall detailed review and monthly reconciling of all general ledger accounts
Lead in the annual financial statement audit and quarterly financial statement reviews by providing supporting schedules/explanations to the external team and internal stakeholders
Analyze quarterly and annual fluctuations for the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
Lead with internal controls, including reviews and updates to process and system control narratives.
Lead in overseeing the overall treasury functions for all subsidiaries including but not limited to cash disbursements, loan procurement and compliance with debt covenants and borrowing bases
Overall management of Accounts Payable and General Accounting
Overall management and administration of Corporate Credit Cards
Prepare timely and complete financial statements monthly and all financial reports as needed by management
Manages the month-end close process (review AP and AR entries, payroll, bank reconciliation, accruals and other adjusting journal entries)

Education, Experience, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
B.S. or B.A. in Accounting
4-6 years public accounting financial statement audit experience
Expert knowledge of GAAP and financial statement accounting
2-3 years of management and leadership experience required

Language Skills
Must be capable of speaking, reading and writing English with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts in an accounting environment.

Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to use good judgment and ask questions as needed.

Computer Skills
Experience with accounting software systems required
High degree of proficiency in Microsoft excel and database system used in financial reporting
Expertise in PowerPivot/Excel
