What you’ll do on a typical day:
Chart and monitor progress toward product completion for each component; meet established acceptable time lines for completion and delivery
Gather and document feedback from end users on the products and recommend improvements; participate in product documentation, release notes, and training documentation
Coordinate development and testing with the development and QA teams
Design web, desktop, and reporting interfaces
Develop wireframes, mockups, and user stories
Document data mapping between multiple applications
Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and other departments to ensure that customer requirements are met
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
3 years of experience designing web software products
3 years of experience designing and optimizing business processes; 3 years of experience gathering business requirements and documenting in an Agile environment
Proven track record of progressive experience, preferably in software development and product management
Freight brokerage or logistics experience
Basic experience with wire-framing tools such as Omnigraffle, Balsamiq, or similar
Understanding of business process design and optimization, such as order to cash
Business analyst experience
Availability to travel between our US and Canada offices 25% of the time
It’d be great if you also have:
Experience as a programmer and/or scrum master
Management consulting experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
Proven analytical skills with the ability to prioritize workload and deliver results
