Job description
The Senior Events Manager - Group at Auberge du Soleil is responsible for managing all aspects of the event planning and execution process for corporate groups. Works closely with property sales managers, corporate and third party event planners, ADS private dining and culinary teams to develop exceptional corporate programs from contract turnover to final billing. Establishes trusted relationships with each client to ensure program objectives are met/exceeded and opportunities for repeat business and referrals are secured. Personalizes each event and creates upselling opportunities to maximize revenue potential, add additional on- and off-site events beyond initial event scope, and enhance service elements to exceed contract minimums. The position plays a critical lead role in contracting third-party vendors and managing these relationships, generating contracts and directing all aspects of each rental/service activity based on individual program needs. Serves as critical property liaison informing and managing all cross-property teams in support of every group program to ensure flawless execution.

Profile description
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in event planning and management, with a demonstrated record of providing 5 star service to a broad range and size of corporate group clients. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be an active listener and exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have a sense of urgency and work in a highly collaborative spirit with the ability to drive results with a wide range of key stakeholders. Thorough knowledge of Delphi sales system for generating all group Resumes, Event Orders and data collection and input for tracking all revenue streams for each group from contract handoff to final billing to post-event follow up. Requires thorough knowledge of the hotel's layout, function space, pricing and all other information needed to successfully execute events. Passion for food and wine preferred with previous experience in luxury fine dining and/or resort desirable.
