Strategic Partners is a global leader in illiquid fund investing, including secondaries, co-investments and primary advisory. The Strategic Partners business was founded in 2000 and has significant experience in providing limited partners a range of liquidity solutions across illiquid asset classes on a fair, timely and confidential basis. Strategic Partners is one of the most prolific secondary market participants in the world and is recognized as an innovative investor, with broad transaction capabilities that reinforce its established reputation as a nimble and responsive investor. Through its private equity, infrastructure and real estate platforms Strategic Partners has executed over 1,400 transactions that represent interests in over 3,750 underlying fund interests managed by over 1,400 different financial sponsors.
Strategic Partners ICS Analyst
Strategic Partners is seeking an analyst to join the Institutional Client Solutions (“ICS”) team. This individual will be instrumental in supporting Strategic Partners’ fundraising and new product development process from start to finish, and managing investor relations for existing products. The individual will work closely across the Strategic Partners team and Blackstone organization and play an integral role in the i nstitutional client solutions process.
Responsibilities would include:
Help execute fundraising and new product development process for the Strategic Partners business (including private equity, real estate, real assets and other funds and business initiatives)
Work on marketing material creation, updates and distribution
Respond to investor due diligence requests
Assist in managing investor relations for existing funds
Organize meeting prep (including background research, prospect sensitivities, program intelligence) and attend Strategic Partners investor meetings
Help design new business proposals to meet investor objectives
Be a point of contact for prospects, including attending in-office meetings, as well as coordinating and executing on any follow-up items
Conduct research around business development trends or themes by geography and/or client type
The Strategic Partners ICS team enables professionals to access the entire Blackstone firm, collaborating across the Private Equity, Real Estate, Credit, Tactical Opportunities, Infrastructure and Hedge Fund Solutions verticals.
Qualified candidates will have worked in investment banking, private placements or private banking for 1-3 years out of college and have experience in institutional sales, investment banking or asset management. Candidates should also have astute commercial sense, excellent communication skills, effective presentation abilities, and possess strong analytical skills.
