This requisition is for a 2020 Intern for the Aftermarket Demand Planning and/or Customer Service organizations.
Responsible for management of customer expectations through the overall administration of customer orders from initial receipt to shipment of the product. This position represents a key interface to UTAS Wheel and Brake division customers requiring the use of excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships and to resolve issues involving material supply and shipments.
Autonomously gather and analyze data from multiple sources to identify and solve business challenges
Proactively use data and process knowledge to identify business trends and opportunities
Participate in cross-functional teams with contracts, Regional Business Managers, Operations/Supply Chain.
Develop performance metrics to drive effectiveness within the Global Demand Planning and Customer Service teams.
Prioritize and conduct ad-hoc analyses for customers and internal stakeholders.
Use systems knowledge to capture and visualize data in a user-friendly format (i.e. reports, dashboards, etc.)
Create tools to automate data and/or processes; provide training and guidance for other users of the tools.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead implementation initiatives.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Requires US citizenship or permanent residence (green card).
Strong analytics with the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables
Able to use and manage complex data (statistics, bias, accuracy, etc.)
Ability to synthesize large amount of information from a variety of sources, data owners, and systems
Background in supply chain and or business analytics
Applied knowledge with SAP/ERP systems and reporting tools
Advanced skills in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables) and Access
Good communication with all levels of the organization
