Product Performance Analyst

This person is responsible for modeling and monitoring the distribution, sales and actuarial performance of life, health and annuity product lines and assists in the development and pricing of new products. This person reports program results to the product development, distribution and senior management teams and supports key carrier relationships through the monitoring of product performance throughout the life cycle of the products. Additionally, this person supports the product committees and the identification of product strategy. This particular role will have a heavy focus on building, maintaining and analyzing product and distribution (agent) performance, providing insights into product performance, identifying opportunities to improve performance and building and possibly presenting report packages. It also includes working with databases and/or large amounts of data.

Build and maintain product monitoring packages to track product performance throughout a products life cycles
Create presentations and report results to internal stakeholders and carrier partners
Analyze product trends and provide performance insights.
Work with data and databases to build, maintain and analyze product performance.
Assist in the development of new products with third party actuaries, carrier and distribution partners
Contribute to product performance, including carrier, distribution and agent campaigns
Contribute and support strategic marketing campaigns and distribution support initiatives
Support identification and development of product strategies across product lines and distribution channels

College degree in finance, insurance, actuarial studies, economics, marketing or related field
A proactive and positive attitude, and the ability to work and contribute within a team environment
Strong communication and presentation skills
The ability to think and work independently and deliver finished, professional work products even in circumstances with limited or ambiguous information
The ability to build and expand capabilities at personal, department and company levels
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, excel formulas) and PowerPoint
SQL server knowledge and experience a plus
