Herzing University is searching for a savvy B2B relationship builder to strategically grow our partnerships with regional employers. This is a remote position but we need candidates who reside in New Orleans, LA or Houston, TX to build relationships with local hospital systems and other organizations to generate enrollment.

Job Summary

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for contributing to enrollment growth by developing strategic partnerships with regionally based hospital systems and other organizations in states represented by a Herzing University campus that will lead to enrollment generation. The role provides the opportunity to further grow Herzing’s brand by focusing on where our academic programs intersect with employers’ needs. Herzing’s Workforce Development team partners with employers, educational institutions, and nonprofits on educational initiatives aligned to meet the needs of their workforce.

This will be accomplished through actions like:
Developing strategic partnerships to generate inquiries through webinars, institution microsites, onsite client events, etc.
Developing and implementing a customized client strategy for assigned client portfolio with timelines and due dates.
Scheduling client-facing meetings to discuss ways to deepen the partnership through in-person events as well as electronic efforts including virtual fairs, webinars, banner ads, etc.
Meeting with key contacts to discuss strategic opportunities that include cohort programs, tailored learning and training opportunities.
Preparing and conducting client presentations to key decision-makers within new and existing accounts.

Bachelor’s degree, masters preferred
Prior experience in outreach/media creation and social media development.
Prior experience in higher education or providing service to this sector is preferred.
Strong background in developing and maintaining client relationships
Strong strategic selling and planning experience including forecasting.
Proven success in exceeding business-to-business sales goals.
Prior experience in facilitation, training and webinar/learning module creation strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following competencies:

Excellent communication, public speaking, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Consultative relationship experience, ability and comfort influencing customers at the senior level as well as the ability to create internal networks of contacts at all levels to drive performance and results.
Understand the digital life cycle, present well via digital efforts, and be able to engage with clients to deepen partnerships.
Disciplined yet dynamic, ability to focus on quality outcomes across short time scales and adapt quickly to change.
Think critically and strategically, with the ability to construct conceptual solutions based on customer needs.
Strong organizational planning, execution and follow-up ability; able to draft project plans and communicate them effectively to various parties; high level of project management.
Proficient in document editing, learning content creation, curriculum design and up to date internet technology.
