Description & Requirements
Here in Kraft Heinz we have a unique opportunity available for an experienced Exports Continuous Improvement Manager. The position lies withing the US Exports team and will be the owner of delivering against commercial targets and driving disruptive improvements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable analyzing large data sets to find root causes and develop action plans across the cross functional team to improve state of the business. This role will have many different stakeholders across the globe – a Total Cost of Ownership mindset is critical to success
Support global procurement with the annual freight RFP ($55 mm). Supporting the sea and air freight rate card distributions and upkeep.
Keep a constant pulse on RDD and OTIF KPIs. Work daily with our Business Services Genpact team to determine causes of misses and action plans. Must work with a sense of urgency with our cross functional partners to mitigate $ risk impact. Drive action plans for root causes.
Assist in managing Ocean Carrier- drayage providers- freight forwarders (30+ suppliers) to improve service KPIs to our final customers. Drive data driven decision making
Work closely S&Ops Export Manager to improve forecast accuracy and order smoothing across the business to reduce cuts
Ensure our warehouses are executing against the export specific requirements including- but not limited to shelf life checks- heat treated pallets. Drive action with our warehousing operations leads to ensure execution across the 100+ US KHC owned and 3PL run sites.
Balance the needs of the worldwide Kraft Heinz zones. You will be in constant contact with the zones across the globe to communicate US export performance impact to the Business Units. Own solutions to performance gaps.
Constantly analyze the total cost of ownership based on the incoterms and drive cost efficiencies within the total end to end supply chain
Must be an intermediate to advanced user of:
Microsoft Office- Sharepoint- Excel based trackers- etc
Intermediate user in Tableau. Comfortable navigating dashboards- and downloading raw data
Multi-lingual a plus!
This Journey regards the whole of International- with a high complexity to bring Countries from where they are to the common goal. For that- the ability to organize and structure thoughts- ideas- and projects becomes a crucial need in the way of simplification.
In this position- you’ll be dealing daily with a wide range of stakeholders- both on the BU’s and Senior Leadership. Having clear- effective- and engaging communication will make a big difference in whether the projects will or not be delivered in this role
When guiding such a wide Community through an unknown road- deliver the message goes often beyond speaking. In those cases- Presentations can be a Powerful tool- improving Clarity and Engagement- two basic ingredients in any successful Strategy Implementation
Project management Skills
