Job Description
Sr. Product Manager, Deals & Social Strategy is responsible for deals, marquee promotions, cross-category events, and social activation in Canada and Mexico. This position reports to Head of Marketing Canada. We are seeking a creative, results-oriented Sr. Product Manager to be located in Seattle. This individual will run the overall Deals and Social Strategy for two emerging markets: Canada & Mexico as part of the North America Traffic organization. He or She will lead all aspects of Deals strategy and execution for both Canada and Mexico and coordinates across retail team vendor management and program management functions to facilitate delivery of core business objectives and customer value perception. Additionally, this individual will own the Social Media channel for Canada and Mexico and develop strategies towards specific business goals – grow revenue and acquire new customers via social channels, increase Amazon brand affinity among fans & followers, increase fan engagement and manage Amazon’s relationship with fans through community management, creative marketing and content planning.
Own and drive deals, in partnership with category teams. Deals include such features as Deal of the Day, Lightning Deals, and Best Deals, for consumer business (retail and seller items), as well as digital.
Coordinate and prioritize and feature deals to customers during Marquee periods. Help category teams in sourcing deals through deals promotion planning.
Drive and coordinate for innovation and implementation of new deals features with WW Deals team.
Develop and improve guidelines for deals, and educate internal stakeholders on metrics to improve customer acquisition, revenue, and profit.
Continuously improve campaign performance for deals and events, by managing promotional contents. Track and act on key metrics.

Basic Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate customer obsession and will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone with a demonstrated history of successful project ownership that can leverage customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
5+ year’s experience in Product Management, Marketing and / or Public Relations, including 2+ years of Social Media Marketing experience
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Google+, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure, managing resources and several projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and influence other departments and senior management

Preferred Qualifications
MBA
French/Spanish language knowledge
Demonstrable experience in communications or marketing.
Demonstrable experience in communications or marketing.

Demonstrated ability to work with global technology and business teams.
SQL skills and familiarity with statistical methods preferable.
