Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, providing applied behavior analysis and assisting in patient care.
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Conduct direct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors
- Assist in the development of treatment goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure effective communication and progress tracking
- Provide support in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and medical documentation
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately in documentation
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient care and interaction
- Understanding of patient assessment procedures
