The Director, Corporate Development, will lead all strategic corporate development for Lifesize on a global basis. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer this professional will be responsible for generating, executing, and managing strategic partnership activities. The ideal candidate enjoys diving deep into complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The selected candidate will play a critical role in contributing to the strategy, business evolution, and long-term success of Lifesize as a key business partner to Lifesize’s executive team.


Lead efforts with executive staff to identify potential strategic technology partnerships and M&A opportunities in areas critical to advancing Lifesize’s growth strategy
Translate business needs, challenges, and key objectives into a roadmap for developing technology partnerships
Evaluate potential partners in targeted areas, proactively make recommendations that support Lifesize’s business objectives, and manage the process of building both internal and external consensus
Cultivate, negotiate, and manage partnerships to deliver business value working with cross-functional groups within Lifesize to ensure successful execution
Establish the ongoing processes, skill sets, and strategy that will enable Lifesize to continue to build out our corporate development capabilities

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
7+ years of technology corporate development experience in SaaS
Proven track record of successfully completing high level, end-to-end negotiations of strategic technology partnerships in close collaboration with internal teams
Superb negotiations skills
Excellent communicator who synthesizes complex ideas into simple concepts
Strategic thinker who brings structure to ambiguous situation and facilitates data-based decision making
Thinks strategically but stays on top of tactical execution
Exhibits excellent judgment
Has relentlessly high standards
