As a Network Administrator for OnBrand24 , you will administer network systems accross three offices and oversee network design, security, and connectivity. This role is responsible for providing and maintaining reliable connectivity of all network and desktop solutions across three offices. This individual must be comfortable working independently and be willing to proactively take on a range of responsibilities from assisting with strategy to handling individual requests. Critical to the continued growth and success of the organization,the positon offers an opportunity for additional advancement accross the greater seven location footprint.
This is a full-time, salaried position with normal business hours however, as a 24/7 contact center, occasional on-call network support could be required.
The Network Administrator is responsible for Network Infrastructure, Security and VPN configuration for client networks. Further responsibilities include, design and implementation of projects, monitoring LAN/WAN network devices and helping ensure an optimized and stable network infrastructure. Administrators own specific technology implementations and will escalate to more senior members of a team as needed. Additional responsibilities for the Systems Administrator position include:
Installs, configures and maintains organization’s LAN/WAN infrastructure (e.g. routers, switches and hubs)
Monitors routers and switches for bandwidth usage and throughput, reports information to team
Installs, configures and maintains firewalls, intrusion detection network sensors and VPN
Proactively researches, analyzes trends and recommends steps towards implementation of optimizing network infrastructure objects
Participates in reviewing existing instructions, guidelines, standards and policies seeking continuous improvement
Assists in developing instructions, guidelines, standards and /or policies
Develops and publishes monthly production statistics, as directed, to report on system performance
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish all work tasks and has a certain degree of creativity and latitude
Works within a team environment with guidance from a manager or project manager

BA or BS Degree – Computer Information Management or equivilent combination of education and experience
5 + years network experience
Experience working in a complex network environment
Cisco certifications preferred
Experience working in a managed-services environment a plus
Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated problem solving abilities
Function as a member of a work team, self-motivated and highly responsible
Ability to work effectively with our customers
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
