Primary Location: Cambridge, MA
The Sanofi Genzyme Field Deployment Senior Manager will be based in Cambridge, MA and report to the Senior Director of Field Deployment and Incentives. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the following areas:
Call Planning and Targeting
Business Lead for the entire call plan process for all brands (inline and launch), including agreement on call plan business rules for assigned therapeutic areas
Work closely with the different Sanofi Genzyme commercial leadership to understand 1-2 year commercial strategy and to secure alignment on corresponding field & call plan strategy
Collaborate with the Analytics Team in finalizing the targeting/segmentation groups to be used for each call plan cycle, communicating standard timelines and implications of off-cycle changes
Where appropriate, initiate & lead the Shared Customer List process for select Sales teams
Work with Reporting and Sales teams on defining and developing KPIs to track call activity, and assure appropriate coordination of data and files
Maintain continuous improvement mindset through periodic review of call plan methodologies and adapting to latest industry best practices
Field Force Alignments and Deployment
Business Lead for sales team structures processing, recommending adjustments & changes based on the optimal need of the business and life cycle of the products in the portfolio
Document, update & communicate changes to alignments, reporting structures, account/physician alignment and affiliations (if applicable) on a quarterly basis
Work closely with the different groups (Roster, Data Management, CRM, HR) for seamless execution of the new sales force structure and/or the implementation of changes to existing teams
Monitor field headcount and vacancy; facilitate and implement personnel placement exercises, if necessary
Business owner of Specialty Inclusion & Team Product Certification Process
Facilitates the inclusion/exclusion process with Commercial, Medical & Legal/Regulatory to align & secure appropriate signoffs every semester (or as needed) in a timely manner
Ensures that all teams within Sanofi (Incentive Compensation, Samples Administration, Data Management and Field Reporting teams) are using the approved inclusion/exclusion rules in all their processes
Participate in periodic Compliance related call plan reviews
Coordinate as appropriate any State Law Training & Notification related to Field Sales teams
Effective roll out all field deployment deliverables (Call plan, ZipTerr, Maps) every quarter
Regularly participate in Sales Leadership & other TA specific meetings to understand business strategy & to represent Field Deployment related processes
Lead regular cross-functional team meetings across Field Support & partners to improve collaboration and results
7 years of healthcare industry experience
Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred
High-level of familiarity with pharmaceutical commercial operations functions, specifically in the areas of Sales Force alignment, targeting and call planning
Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate actionable analytical findings to Sales and Brand leadership with corresponding communication of technical details to technical tea,
Relevant expertise in using data-handling tools such as Excel and SAS; have experienced using an alignment software (i.e. Javelin Territory Designer) is a plus
Role is based in Cambridge and individual must be local and not commuting from elsewhere. Periodic travel for F2F communication, including Sales Meetings and Bridgewater, NJ for team meetings, required.
Commercial Operations broad expertise, including adjacent domains of Incentives, CRM, Field Reporting and Data Governance, etc.
