The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) is seeking a candidate to fill the Transition Services Coordinator position. The Program Coordinator II-Transition Services Coordinator will work directly to support the Statewide Transition Director with MRC’s transition activities related to Ch. 688, school partnerships and manage a caseload of consumers assigned to MRC by the Transition Advisory Committee (TAC) at the Bureau of Transition Planning (BTP). The case management responsibilities will be to oversee the employment, day programming, and transportation needs of TAC assigned consumers from the BTP. This position must maintain effective collaboration and systems linkages at the state, regional and local level. The PC II will work closely with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors to provide training and education to ensure regular and clear communication with the schools. The PC II will process Ch. 688 eligibility and work with the school system and VR to connect students to appropriate supports. The main responsibilities will include vocational rehabilitation support for consumers from the BTP, systems coordination, training and technical assistance on programmatic and transition plan supports for working with students.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have at least (A) three years of full time, or equivalent part-time, professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management or public administration the major duties of which involved program management, program administration, program coordination, program planning and/or program analysis, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
I. A Bachelor's degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the-required experience.*
II. A Graduate degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for the required experience.*
III. A Bachelor's or higher degree with a major other than in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience.*
