We are currently seeking a Staff Engineer, Process Excellence to join our Robotics Division to be in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

What you will do:
As the Staff Engineer, Process Excellence, you will facilitate and lead Improvement or Six Sigma projects on a variety of Transactional, Operational and Design related processes, as well as coach, mentor and provide guidance to respective trainees undergoing Green Belt or Black Belt certification. You will follow the DMAIC/DFSS and/or Lean Problem-Solving roadmaps to improve processes and you will perform hands-on analysis of data and recommend solutions. You will provide mentoring to less experienced colleagues and Six Sigma Green Belts for the basic levels of responsibility.

Lead and/or support Lean Six Sigmaprojects to improve key business metrics.
Perform independent statistical data analysis as required to support the business.
Perform in-depth Root-Cause analysis when required.
Monitor key metrics to sustain the benefits of completed projects and maintain a pipeline of improvement opportunities.
Lead and/or support assigned projects using DMAIC type and SSPD methodologies
Work with process owners in developing and improving key business process metrics.
Provide project update to communicate status as required.
Conduct training/coaching on related Statistical and Problem-Solving tools and methodology.
Provide data analysis that supports process design and re-engineering of key business processes
Work with Process Excellence Black Belts and Master Black Belts in supporting projects and providing project status, documentation of projects, communicating savings and maintaining the project pipeline.

What you need:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Technical Engineering or related technical discipline required.
A Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma or Lean-Kaizen or Design for Six Sigma or Operational-Transactional Six Sigma preferred.
Previous training, experience and in-depth knowledge of Six Sigma required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working within an operational process excellence environment required.
Experience in medical device or other highly regulated industrial environment preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of a broad set of improvement and statistical tools/methods used within process excellence activities.
Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, oral and written skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead or facilitate projects using DMAIC/Lean methodologies from inception through implementation of recommendations and solutions.
Proven ability to drive and develop improvement of critical business metrics.
Demonstrated experience in Minitab and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio.) required.
Demonstrated experience using DMAIC philosophy required.
Demonstrated ability to lead or facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/SS methodologies and tools with cross functional teams from inception through implementation of recommendations and solutions required.

Work From Home: Regularly scheduled days
