Objective:
Ensure customer satisfaction by supporting sales engineers, design engineers, and PERI customers

Responsibilities:
  • Review freight charges from carriers (provided by AP) and prepare for processing against projects- notating job, amount to charge, and delivery tickets involved in shipment on the carrier invoices
o Check parameters, such as tax, customer PO numbers, Special project, and specific pricing for freight against the Freight Log

  • Process freight charges, individually, in PSD following guidelines and standards for order entry
o Set up Summary Order billing structure for freight (K80)

o Process charges related to freight, such as TNU or detention that may exceed the agreed upon amount in the contract

o ‘Deliver’ out charges in PSD

o Note delivery/subs on the carrier invoice and return to AP

  • Notify and liaise with AP regarding any duplications or conflicts on charges or for clarity
  • Update ‘Freight Log’ with terms for new projects
o Collect contract information via Centrio

o Contact PERI sales engineers on ‘unclear’ or conflicting freight terms

  • Monitor ‘not to exceed’ amounts for freight noted on Contract Summary Sheet (CSS)
  • Facilitate contract updates for freight carriers utilized via Uroute portal
Provide assistance/support to OMS, salesman, sales support

Requirements:
Education: AA degree or equivalent work related experience

Experience/Skills:
Excellent time management skills; ability to work under deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate
Proficient in MS Office
Fluent in English
