This position is responsible for providing enterprise wide customer service responses on a complete range of complex Human Resource topics in response to inquiries from new and existing Associates. Receives and responds to all levels of Associate process, information and benefit/paroll inquires or provides guidance to a referal for resolution. Provides clerical and administrative support for assigned functional areas of the HR Operations unit. Administers and maintains the assigned complex processes and document management in compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental procedures. Provides staff coverage for the HR Customer Service Center and training for new HR Customer Service Specialists.
1.Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee’s supervisor.
2.Provides customer service by greeting or receiving, and in turn responding to, visitor, applicant and Associate inquiries. Provides referrals for inquiry resolution if necessary.
3. Responsible for Customer Service Support and Administration. Provides staff coverage for the HR Customer Service Line and provides in person support for Associate inquiries regarding all levels of Human Resource programs and processes relating to benefits, payroll, policies and procedures, employee relations, leave management, employment verification and compensation.
4.Serves as the primary resource for the following operational and onboarding areas:
Coordinates applicant processing and new hire onboarding with the hiring manager and Talent Acquisition
Processes and certifies new hire onboarding documentation as accurate and complete
Maintains the EAR document management system
Performs data entry and/or provides verification of data entry for new hires, promotions, transfers and name changes.
Maintains and monitors information for assigned functional programs such as fit testing, leave administration, unemployment, licensure, performance appraisals, corrective action, I-9s, etc.
Provides guidance or resolution on complex service matters.
5. Provides clerical and administrative support for assigned functional areas of the HR Operations unit.
6. Is cross-trained and is demonstrates expertise in all areas of HR Operations.
7.Provides training for new HR Customer Service Specialists.
8. Leads special projects and initiative support.
9.Provides Quality Assurance and utilizes Continuous Improvement Principles to ensure the best possible standards for work processes and quality.
Associates Degree required.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred.
4 plus years of related human resources, benefits, administrative or technical experience.
