Part Time Mining Department Staff Assistant

Utah State University - Price, UT

Will work under the direction of the Lead Mining Instructor. Will help manage day-to-day operations of the Mining program and following established policies and procedures. Located on the USU Eastern campus in Price, Utah.

Responsible for registration, billing and tracking of mine training students, revenues and expenses.
Coordinates with instructors to help deliver top quality MSHA trainings.
Maintains MSHA/Mining Program records to comply with state and institutional requirements, processes, procedures, & reporting.
Supports Instructors by monitoring training courses to ensure client satisfaction, quality and effectiveness of instructional materials and overall course success.
Develops and maintains positive customer relations and visibility through professional and positive actions with the customer.
Maintains knowledge of current mine courses offerings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma.
Two (2) years of directly related experience in a business or related field.
Preferred Qualifications

Associates Degree in Business or related field.
Strong office and managerial skills and experience.
Experience with instructional design and curriculum development.
