Position Summary:
Join us as a Regional Sales Manager (also known as a Regional Technical Expert "RTE") and play a pivotal role in implementing a proven growth strategy to expand SOX's nationwide footprint. You will lead educational efforts, provide training, and offer support to engineers, contractors, and Certified Service Providers (CSPs), enabling them to effectively market, spec, bid, sell, and install our patented erosion control systems. Your contribution will directly impact our mission of creating sustainable landscapes across the nation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional strategy aligned with SOX's mission, fostering sustainable growth.
- Utilize exceptional persuasion skills to connect individual needs and motivations to overarching goals.
- Present digitally and in-person to diverse industry audiences, showcasing the value of our solutions.
- Attain expertise in SOX's products and technologies to provide comprehensive support.
- Collaborate with the national sales director and channel managers to establish and achieve sales targets.
- Manage a robust customer and opportunity pipeline using HubSpot.
- Propose innovative solutions that align with customer needs.
- Build and nurture rapport with new and existing clients.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to potential customers.
- Devise targeted marketing strategies for specific regions or demographics.
- Prepare and submit insightful sales reports to management.
- May require field support training contractors on proprietary techniques & installation methods.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
- Track record of achieving and surpassing sales objectives.
- Familiarity with project management principles.
- Preferred:
- 5 years of experience in relevant industry.
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
- Background in environmental or sustainable industries.
Travel:
